Regional Mountain Conference 2026, Obergurgl
On July 5 to 8, the EPFL+ECAL Lab takes part in the Regional Mountain Conference 2026 in Obergurgl, Austria, where the team presents two scientific contributions resulting from the research work carried out as part of the European project MountResilience.
In the Open Poster session, the EPFL+ECAL Lab reports the preliminary results of an evaluative user study focusing on a digital decision support product designed to engage stakeholders with water related environmental data.
During the plenary session dedicated to Participation, Power, and Justice in Hazard and Climate Risk Research, the second contribution covers the learnings from participatory design approaches. They were used within the Swiss demonstrator on water management to better engage stakeholders in climate change adaptation tool design.
