Dr Cédric Duchêne

Head of Electronics & Systems Engineering

Dr Cédric Duchêne, Head of Electronics and Systems Engineering at EPFL+ECAL Lab, is an electrical engineer and holds a PhD in signal processing. He is a lecturer at ECAL where he teaches BA and MA courses on practical electronics. He has built-up the experimental platform Electronic Maker Lab, to teach and learn electronics at the EPFL.

He supervises BA and MA Media and Interaction Design (ECAL) student projects oriented in “electronics and tangible interfaces” and is involved in the China Innovation Camp program (EPFL+UNIL+ECAL). Besides his teaching activities, he is also involved as project leader on the Montreux Jazz Heritage Lab archive experiments. Besides his research activities, Cédric is also a musician and often performs audio production for different projects.
