Lara Défayes
Lara is an interaction designer from Switzerland. She has a BA in Media & Interaction Design from ECAL and an MAS in Design Research for Digital Innovation from the EPFL+ECAL Lab. Fascinated by digital culture, her motivation is to create meaningful design systems. By placing simplicity at the centre of her design practice, she aims to give people inclusive digital experiences.
At the EPFL+ECAL Lab, Lara works as a project manager, art director and design lead. She has worked on projects ranging from information perception, digital heritage to wellbeing & health. She also teaches with Nicolas Henchoz on the EPFL course for Digital Humanities: Design Research for Digital Innovation and runs the MAS Studio Projects with Romain Collaud.
